just noticed that my wireless modem/router combo has a light flashing for this
is there something that I need to do..........the only wireless item I have are the 2 HWS

wps is just easy button mode for setting up a secure connection with your router.

now is bridging enabled on both of the hoppers?
because if bridging is enabled on both it can cause all sorts of gremlins to show up.

since this modem/router does not have a wps "button" & is supposedly automatic, I just unplugged it for a short time & plugged back in.....no more flashing light

And let's be clear: WPS is BROKEN and represents a major security flaw/risk. Everyone is advised, even by some manufactures of routers that have the WPS button, to ABANDON, turn off, and NEVER use WPS--EVER! I can't find a single reputable individual who recommends using it. Quite the contrary. It is extremely insecure.

for a the average residential user wps is fine because its takes hours to brute force a wps, now if you are running a network for commercial or non residential use then do not use wps.
