HWS Transfer to IPad performance

So how long does it take to transfer shows from a HWS to your IPad? How much space does it take? I am curious about typical 30 minute Disney channel shows and a HD 2 hour movie.

I am wondering if this might be a good solution for taking movies on the road in our camper.

A thirty minute program will take less than three minutes to transfer. That's if it was already prepared to transfer. If it has to prep, then transfer, your looking at about 10-15 minutes.

I never really paid much attention to how long it takes but it's well worth the wait. This is by far one of the greatest features of the Hopper with Sling.
