Charley Walters: Minnesota Vikings owner Zygi Wilf has shown he's willing to spe - TwinCities.com

The NFL is expected to choose the Vikings or St. Louis Rams to play the Lions next Thanksgiving Day in Detroit.

:haha:haha:haha:haha

The RAMS??

That would set new standards for atrocious football!

Wozniak needs to realize that there is more than one bad team in football.

Paul, I would bet the house on Detroit over the Rams anyday of the week.

Detroit, while winless, did not give up in every game.

St. Louis, OTOH, is a pathetic team of gutless individuals with no heart. I saw their pathetic no-shows against the Jets, Cardinals, and 49ers.

If Sandra slapped a St. Louis player in the face, they'd cower and run away crying like the little girls they are!

The Dallas Cowboys will host either the San Diego Chargers or the Oakland Raiders at 4:15 p.m. EST, while the prime time NFL Network game, featuring opponents to be announced, will be featured at 8:15 p.m. EST. The Detroit Lions are tentatively scheduled to play an NFC team, which is yet to be announced, at 12:30 p.m. EST.

Oh I realize that. There just isn't any team as BAD as the Lions. 0-16, 1-23, and more to come. Maybe they didn't quit, but they don't have any talent. 10 players that belong on a NFL roster, tops. Enough said.

At least with Minnesota you have what would be the Adrian Peterson show, then again Steven Jackson would have a field day as well

Both look like excellent matchups!!!...LOL

Could be worse. It might have been the Lions and the Raiders. THAT would have been atrocious football. Minnesota would be interesting, since they'll probably be breaking in a new rookie QB.

And Detroit may have a rookie QB from OK.
It's pretty bad when Detroit's "Gold Standard" at quarterback was Greg Landry; they only manged to win a grand total of one (1) Playoff games after all those years with Barry Sanders in the backfield; and we Lions fans (those of us who are still living) refer to the Wayne Fontes era as, "The Winning Years." :river

Maybe they want someone who might be down to their level?

Who knows, I still haven't figured out why they keep giving the Raiders nationally televised games. NFL does all sorts of strange stuff come schedule time.

it will probably be the Vikes

The NFL is expected to choose the Vikings or St. Louis Rams to play the Lions next Thanksgiving Day in Detroit. The Vikings are expected to be the opponent because of running back Adrian Peterson's national TV appeal.

yes there are teams as bad as 1-23 the bucs back in the day went 0-14 1 year then proceded togo 0-12 to start next season so they were 0-26

ah the vikes, just a bigger audience for him to fumble in front of, if we do get thanksgiving day national game

Tampa finished 2-26. We're at 1-23, 2-26 is VERY reachable, furtherong my claim that this IS the worst team in NFL history. At least Tampa had an excuse, they were an expansion team. The Lie-ons ineptitude has been percolating for 51 years.

BTW, where you been Stoney?

Rays will now have all games on Fox Sports FL/Sun Sports
