I got that card in the mail yesterday about Starz also........free for 3 months........8 premium channels....so how many of those 8 channels are in HD ?...........I dont watch SD anymore.

I think anyone can get it if you have or agree to autopay and paperless billing.

Well, I meet that criteria and haven't seen anything in the mail yet. I am on the Famine, I mean Family Plan though.

I just finished three free months of HBO and Showtime. On my statement they gave me credit for the three months and then charged me monthly for the next three months. I know it figures out the same in the end, but wouldn't it be simpler to just say no charge on the statement? Is this the way they are handling the free Starz too?

I got the Christmas card Starz promo too, and signed up for it today. After a nice chat with the customer service rep, she saw that they are also offering the Platinum HD pack free for 3 months too. As I have been paying for that anyway (got it so I could get the HD for Life promo), they took the Platinum charge off for 3 months. The rep said that I would need to call back after 3 months if I wanted to keep either pack. Heck, I figure I am still ahead anyway as I am still getting the penny Cinemax!
