I got an HR21 for free

I had some pixelation issues and the Directv tech couldnt fix it, but hes like well we can swap out your dvr for a new one, and they gave me an HR21. I had an HR20-700 before. I also didnt do it cause i didnt watch last nights House yet lol but it was worth missing it.

Thanks from all of us! You'll be one of the test bunnies. Hopefully you can find all the bugs in it so they can fix them. Those HR21's are a mess.

But now i have to wait until Friday to download the CE so it doesnt show the standard definition channel in the guide, i cant wait to go home and play with it and re add all my season passes lol

Set up a favorites list with only the HD channel checked Other than some of the newer stuff in the HR20s (like that and VOD), my HR21 works as well as my HR20.

Seems like setting up a favorites list would be quicker than flipping through "All Channels" all the time, but that's just me... plus, I don't think there are any CE's for the -21, are there?

You should get it for free, it doesnt have OTA tuners

There is a HR21-700 CE planned for this Friday/Saturday. It contains minor improvements, but not DOD, remote booking, etc.
