I may get back to Directv

I would like to come back to Directv. Last time I had it, it was in my wifes name. Will Directv allow me to use my name instead of hers. I was told by a dealer that I would be able to. I didn't order through that dealer at that time. I set up an account using my name only on the website and proceded to order, however I stopped before I entered my credit card info. I would like to get the latest HD DVR reciever and the package that comes with that.

Yes, you would be a new subscriber. I did the same thing years ago. Cable had a dish buy program where they gave me everything under the sun for a good deal to leave satellite (DirecTV). I took it like a fool and then after the year was up, we went back to DirecTV under the wifes name and have been with DirecTV ever since. That was over 7 years ago.
