I missed Mardi Gras - Carnival...dang!

Last year, I did find all kinds of things going on both in Rio and in New Orleans. mostly web feeds...but dang I missed all the parades. Also Faschings was going on in Germany...dang!

Mardi Gras Day was February 21st, but there were parades and events going on two weeks prior. There were lots of uplink trucks around town, but I missed the feed hunting because I was out there in it all night and I slept all day.

Mardi Gras is a time of the year I look forward to until it arrives. Then I look forward to Ash Wednesday...

Ditto that. Disappointed with the little I found. This year seemed to be Mardi Gras-less, feed wise. Not like years past where most, if not all, of the parade was broadcast. Only lucky enough to find a couple of 1 minute spots out of NOLA, then gone. Thought I'd wear out the S9 for all the scanning done. More extensive coverage intended for Mexico & S.A. seen on Atlantic satellites. But these appeared as much smaller venues.
