Everyone seems to have lost the ability to receive programming from 110 at this time. I don't have any information but I thought I'd start a thread since I'm sure plenty of people will be along.

It appears that Echostar 8 is the malfunctioning satellite. Echostar 6 appears to be unaffected.

Echostar 8 is not being moved. Echostar 4 and 5 are moving.

If the uplink is not working. Would we still receive a transponder signal?

no, think of the sat as a huge mirror.. it needs to recive a signal in order to bounce the signal back to the earth.. If its not reciving that sig from the uplink then it has nothing to bouce back.
