International Launch Services today said the launch of the AMC-15 satellite for SES Americom on board a Russian Proton launch vehicle was successful. The launch took place at 3 23 a.m. local time from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The satellite separated from the Breeze M upper stage at 10 18 a.m.
