I never understood how 6-6 teams get in until I read that ALL conferences HAVE TO have a certain amount of teams go to bowls.....talk tail wagging the dog....LOL

They should change the way they figure Bowl games, with everyone playing 12 games, they should have to win at least 7 (a winning record, sorta) I perfer at least 8 myself... But IF that became true, then alot of Bowls would have to no longer exist or take a 3rd or 4th place 8 win team in some cases, but it would make the bowl match ups better.

Sorry about that, I guess if you never hear anything about them , you figure they are in the bottom of a large conference, I was sadly mistaken.

Nevada was 8-4 in the WAC
Miami ended up 6-6 in the ACC

The Pack plays on the smurf turf every other year so no biggie for them. Reno is at 4700 ft so they are used to the cold. Hurricanes don't happen in the high dessert!

Wasn't sure what city Nevada was located. There are some pretty big temp differences across the entire state.

The elevation will be WAY more of an issue than the cold...they have to travel to Boston College and Blacksberg against VT. BUT, seeing that they will be on turf....HEHEHE....you will see what REAL speed is....Nevada has NEVER seen speed like Miami's ......
