Inline Amp and How to Get The Placement You Want Recommendations

I'm trying to work out an install, but my installer doesn't want to go over 150" for fear of too much line loss. The installer has agreed to one site at 180', but stipulated that I have to get an amplifier. He says he doesn't carry amplifiers. Based on my research I'd expect that I need a 5-10db sloped gain amplifier. Am I right about what I need? Any recommendations?

Frankly the site at 180' requires me to take down or do some trimming to a couple of 60' tall trees and getting a conduit placed under my driveway. It is an eastern arc location and I'd prefer to be on western arc service since I'm in MN and that will assure me optimal local programming.

There is a site at 250' which requires no tree work, and no conduit placement, but the installer doesn't want to run cable this far for fear of signal loss.

Frankly I'd pay for RG11 for the install and an inline amp to get to the 250' site, but I don't want to piss off the installer by trying to get the install he already declined done.

What do you folks think?

TIA for your responses.
