input remote code

My roommate and I had Voom installed, but there were no booklets with the remotes that told us how to program the remote to control the tv too. So, we're stuck using 2 remotes on each tv right now. I already have a book of tv codes from a previous provider, so can someone just tell me how to input a code into the remote? Thanks a lot.
