Anybody know a at least semi-working remote code for this BluRay player? I can't find one that works at all. Have a 21.0 remote, but I hate to "learn" the whole thing.

If that's the only option, how many commands approx. will the 21.0 learn before running out of memory?

Thanks

I would highly recommend "teaching" it. It's really easy. You can program one command to each button on the remote chat should be more than enough.

507 is the only code we came up with for Insignia Blu-Ray Players with the 21.0 remote. You could also try a power scan and see if there is a code that is compatible with your blu-ray player. Press and hold the DVD mode button until all mode buttons at the top of the remote light up, then let go. Press the power button once, press the up button once a second while pointing the remote at your blu-ray player. When you arrive at the right code it will power off. Press the pound (#) button to save the code to the remote. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times.

Thanks for the suggestion Phillip. I had tried the power scan method before and came up empty. Code 507 also doesn't work on this player. I guess it's time to "teach" it. I've also got a few commands from my A/V receiver (a Technics) that I'd like to ad. If I read the instructions right, all keys need to be "taught" in one session? If I forget a key I've got to start all over in another session? I guess I'll write down every key I want to do before starting.

It's usually better to keep track of what's learned, though you can use the learning function without having to relearn all the buttons. If you press and hold the mode button until it lights up, then press and release RECALL, then hold the RECORD until it lights up it will keep all currently saved commands it learned previously. If you just go straight to press and holding record it will start it over as a "Blank Slate"
