bought a sw-64 swicth fom swap meet came with no installion manuals been reading articles from interenet really not sure but cant afford to pay anyone. what would happen if i get power suppy back wards will it fry the reciever ?

It wont fry the receiver but it could possibly damage the switch as it is rather delicate, basicly the power supply has to go to receiver port feed number one on the switch, the sat ports are labeled as 1A 1B 2A 2B 3A 3B.

1A 1B = sat 119

2A 2B = sat 110

3A 3B = any sat of your choice other than 105 and 121 fss.

Its best to use 3 legacy dual lnbfs on this switch.

I thought you had to use Legacy dual LNBFs Dishpro won't work with a SW64 switch. VAN is correct the Power Inserter must be connected to the #1 receiver port.

you can use a legacy quad and a legacy dual on an sw64 switch but its a bit tricky some times for the unexperienced. Theres also an old rumour out there that you can use a single legacy lnbf on the 61.5 that still comes around to this day.
