i am trying do the install using the inhouse cabeling as much as possible.
i would hate to run new lines everywhere
as it is the house is wired for cable.

it has a SINGLE line going inside to a distribution pannel.
it would mean stringing 2 more to that pannel, but better that, then the rest of the house!

Thanks

You still didn't specify how many tuners you are going to have.

I'll assume your getting high def, and all your high def including your locals is on the 129 then your going to get a dish 1000/1000.2

The tech is going to install using a DPP Twin and DP Dual. The tech can use your existing cabling provided its RG6 rated to at least 2150 MHz using diplexers and such.

No 44 switches will be used as it would be a waste - unless you pay for it.

Now if your in the detroit/st. louis markets you'll get a 44 switch as the high def locals come off the 118.7 slot.

One dual tuner reciver is able to use 1 single line.

There are many different configurations for specific systems in designated markets.

Thanks for your info. and advice.

i am planing on 110, 119 and 129.

there will be 5 locations in the house where i need the feed now.
so i would need 2 dual tunners (HD) and one single tuner (HD) for the install.

my concern is that there is ONE cable coming into the house into the distribution box, and i want to minimize the amount of cables that i have to run!
if this can be done in another way, please let me know!
thanks again.

If the 1000.2 dish's actually start rolling out you wont need any external switches, otherwise I'd advise a 44 switch to accomadate your install.

You'll need to purchase the 5th tuner outright in order to have 5 active tuners on your account.
