Help and advise please. My current set up is a dish 1k.2 with DPP+ lnb's looking a 110/119/129 connected to a 622 and a 501. With the weak signal and drop outs from 129 I want to install a second dish.
I have a spare dish 500 with DPro. lnb. What is the best action?
Point the D500 at 129 or 61.5 or at 110/119? Will the DPro lnb work with the DPP+ or will I need a DPP+ lnb and if so which on will fit the Dish 500. Would 61.5 be a better sat? LOS is no problem for any sat. Once the second dish is installed, how do I hook this up? I intend to do the install my self.

the stuff you have will work mout a dish and go to rec system info enter your zip code and it will give you setting for the sats you want. just run the cable from dish 2 to dish 1 where it says in

Without knowing your most basic geographic location (the state would be useful), it is impossible to tell. I kinda doubt that a Dish500 is going to offer a significant boost in reception over the Dish 1000.2.

Its been shown to provide a better 129 by going to a seperate dish 300. A DP LNB twin or dual will work just fine. I have this setup and pointed at 61.5. If you go 129 you need to block the 129 eye on the 1000.2

Looking to get E* - Have some questions.
