instant email notification doesnt work

How do I get my instant email notification to work on subscribed threads? Ive checked the address, it is correct, I always check "subscribe to instant email notifications" when I post or reply but I never get any notice. Can anyone help me out ? Thanks Bob P

Check your spam filters. Or if you are on Yahoo, or Hotmail (and a few others) they delete them for you.

All mail is going out.

I did all that and Im not using yahoo. I have a road runner account. Can you give me the address it would come from so I can add it to my address book or inquire with roadrunner? Thanks Bob

I dont think its RoadRunner. They dont filter sh*t. I get SO MUCH spam its crazy . When I had Verizon DSL I never received any spam .

Problem solved when I changed my email address to my yahoo account. Wouldnt work with road runner.
