Interesting HD thread on HD production problems

I found this thread and thought it was very interesting and the comments from PBS about HD production. I am sure that all channels have this problem and that is why HD programming is slower to develop. I sounds almost the same story we hear about VOOM. Makes you stop and think

I read that one before. Our PBS, though they have only a single channel and look fantastic, only broadcasts about 4 actual HD shows/week. All other programming is upconverted. At least there's no skeeter noise.
