D*'s bundling department is a company that sells phone and Internet service... I believe they use allconnect (that's why they are willing to switch you to DSL and not willing to help you otherwise). Wait until your d* is installed then opt into joint billing through AT&T... You'll get your discount and not have the hassle of switching Internet service.
