Is it finally safe to Upgrade to the H3 / Joey 2 from VIP722K's?

With a Single Hopper 3, can you -
1. set a recording that you join In Progress (like a football game by example)
2. Then Pause that Recording,
3. Tune to another Channel and Watch TV,
4. and then Return to Original Recording which is still Paused where you left it?
Or, does that require another Hopper 3 or Joey in the same room?

No you can't do that.
You would have to record it.
Or have another Joey in the same room.
Can you do it if you have (2) Hopper 3's bridged together in the same room?
When you do have (2) Hopper 3's Bridged together, can you see ALL the Recordings and Timers from BOTH H3's in the same LIsts and Folders, or are the kept separate?
I don't have 2 Hopper3s, and last I saw you can't have 2 Hopper3s on the same account as of now.
The Hopper 3 Has PIP so I would Imagine thats as close to what you want to do as you can get with only a single Hopper.
I guess I will get a Hopper 3 and a Joey in my TV Room so I can do what I have been doing with (2) VIP722K's in the same room.
Well the plus thing is a Hopper 3 and Joey is only $22 in fees.
2- 722 is $24 no?
Unless the 2 SD feeds are Important to you, You have much more to gain over those 722s.
Actually, I am currently charged $17 for 722K.
How/where (CSR, DIRT or Customer Retention) do you think I will get the best deal on Programming and Equipment in moving from the VIP722K's to the Hopper 3 and (4) Joeys? Obviously, I am currently under no contract obligations.

I upgraded my 2 HWS
For Hopper3 and 3 Joey 2s.
And it cost me the $8 Protection plan only.
I was 10 months into my contract.
The $8 Protection plan was required to waive the $95 tech visit.
And I have 10 months to Go On my original Price lock.
I get $30 in credits.
$10 Autopay
$3 off DVR fee
$17 off Top 250
Being a 15+ year sub, WITHOUT PP, I did not had to pay for my last two or three installs, including recent H3 install, as well as equipment return shipping. Long tern loyalty has it's perks.
