No CH 247 in the Houston Metro. Is this location specific? I have AT120+
You need to have an internet connected receiver such as a Hopper or Wally. No CH 247 in the Houston Metro. Is this location specific? I have AT120+
I have that. Fully internet connected, streaming apps work fine. Just no 247. I also don't get NewsNation, not sure if that's in AT120+, but these 2 channels don't show up even in the unsubscribed list. You need to have an internet connected receiver such as a Hopper or Wally.
Same here with the 200 package. H3 is internet connected.I have that. Fully internet connected, streaming apps work fine. Just no 247. I also don't get NewsNation, not sure if that's in AT120+, but these 2 channels don't show up even in the unsubscribed list.
Most likely, as that was how it was when it was previously added, in those markets where MeTV is a satellite delivered local channel - it's also like that when DirecTV added MeTV nationally...I do have MeTV by satellite and OTA locals. Could that be the reason I don't get channel 247?
You already get it via KYAZ-51 in your locals pkg, which is why you're most likely not getting the national version...jsmit86:

I get it over the air as well. But Dish does not supply it to me as part of my locals package. Which, as I already explained, IS why you got it before & are getting it now...not that hard to understand...But Dish does not supply it to me as part of my locals package. I did get MeTV before on 247 when it was on Satellite.
But I also get it off the air so I shouldn't be getting it from dish (According to Brittany) I should not get it as I get it locally. (Not that I am complaining because DISH's METV has guide data, while my OTA does not and that makes it hard to record.)Which, as I already explained, IS why you got it before & are getting it now...not that hard to understand...
EXACTLY - and yet again, THIS IS HOW IT WAS WHEN IT WAS PREVIOUSLY ON 247 & is this way on DirecTV!scott
The people who don't get it on 247 are the markets where Dish carries it in the locals (where it is a full signal station on -1)
If you get it OTA that is a moot point.
It's that way on all streaming providers that carry a national MeTV feed, as well as on at least some of the other Weigel networks that are carried by streaming providers. (I saw this firsthand when I had FrndlyTV for a few months) It has to do with program exclusivity rules for some shows, hence why the streaming feeds are different.I also noticed that the local OTA feed and the Dish Network Streaming feed do not always carry the same programing.
