Having issues with the remote to my Joey. All of a sudden it wouldn't work. I replaced the batteries and the sat would blink green and tv and aux would blink red for 5 or so times then nothing until I took the batteries out again and it does the same thing when I put them in. Pressing any of the buttons does nothing. The joey couldn't locate the remote. I unpaired it, removed the batteries, pressed power 10x, and replaced the batteries and I'm getting nothing but blinking lights.

Is there any way to reset the remote ON the remote?

Does DISH cover a replacement or is that on me?

I've had mine appear "dead" several times (new batteries & all) and fixed them by stretching the little springs that holds tension on the batteries. They tend to take a "set" over time & become totally flattened preventing adequate contact although, they still appear tight enough they *should* work.
