Is Travel Channel HD ever coming to Directv?

What is going on with the Travel Channel HD? Is D* going to add any new HD channels?

this one issue i've never understood an no one has ever known why so i gave up asking long time ago. sorry

I'd like to see it. They could easily add it any day they wanted to. Some real nice HD scenic material on that channel.

While you are at it D* needs to add WGN, Lifetime, Lifetime Movies, HBO group, Hallmark, and the others E* has. D* has been somewhat quiet for way to long!

And likely quiet for a good time longer. It HAS been very frustrating seeing other carriers leapfrogging D* in HD.

i'm guessing that at this point we might have to wait for the new sat to launch. unless D removes some of those crappy ppv channels
