Its Official 2 - FNL debuts on directv in october

as i just mentioned in the network programming thread, peabody winning drama ``Friday Night Lights'' will intially begin its third season on directv's 101 channel starting in october.

NBC picks the show up in its friday night 9 to 10p, time slot after the super bowl in february 2009!!

thanks guys. i was looking for tonites hd extra innings sked when i noticed it. nbc had already announced fnl would be on their sked in 2009, leaving the door open for the directv announcement. and there it was!! exciting news indeed, especially with the third season pick-up of 30 rock as well.
