I saw it in IMAX and enjoyed it. It is somewhat run of the mill, but not a disappointment. It was not based on a Tom Clancy book, but an original screen play trying to reset the Jack Ryan time line to today.

Haven't seen it yet, but will. If they are just trying to reset to today then they should just do what the current books have done and use his son (Jack Jr) as the main character.
