This dish motor has been in my garage since 2008 or so. Bought it from the factory when it was still in production. It has never been used or even wired up. It only has surface scratches from being moved from one side of the garage to the other. This is a hard to find item in like new condition. More picture upon request. 900.00

Seller pays for shipping. Local pick up available from 30066

What size dish was this model rated for?
1.2 to be safe, it will move a 1.8 channel master but there have been a few cases of it snapping and the dish blowing away, some do come with a metal plate as a extra but it bolts to the aluminum and doesn't do much,

I once fabricated a metal cage round the motor and installed a 1.8 on it worked ok, unless your in a very sheltered location 1.2 dish no more,

I recently put a new one on ebay UK it fetched about £350 nice motor good luck with the sale.

From all that I have read its can handle 1.2m to 2.4 m dish. But it does not mention a weight.

Yeah, I thought it was one of the smaller ones that were known to snap in half, so they stopped selling them.
