WANTED Polar mount

Anybody have a used polar mount lying around they'd be willing to part with?

I got one, but you are 1600 miles away. Try to find an old 6ft mesh dish, and use the polar mount from that. I assume you want it for a KU dish?

Realize that when mounting an offset dish on a polar mount, you MUST tip the top of the dish forward, the same degrees as the dishes offset degrees. You can do that with added angle iron, but it should be built very strong, if you expect a lot of wind.

I have an AJAK 180 HH that has been in storage for past 10 years. Was originally mounted on a hydroformed AMCI dish that I purchased in Reno, Nevada. Yes, true horizon to horizon and capable of lifting an elephant!

FREE to a good home.... Local Pick-up near Sacramento, CA. It is a beast and would require pallet shipping.

I have one. Originally for C Band. Modified to hold two 1.2 meter Ku dishes. Also has a second actuator for elevation tracking. It's pretty ugly.

Anything's adaptable IF you are creative! Don't forget you'll need at least an 18" actuator motor, and some way to drive it. G-box or V-box. I think Rick sells one.

Plus extra angle iron or angle aluminum, and some fabricating skills.
