Joey internet connection

I have my Hopper directly connected to a router. But Joey says no broadband connection, all 3 tests say failed in red. I know they enabled, then disabled joey internet, then you didn't need a hic, then you did need a hic, then you didn't again, then there was a hidden screen to turn on networking w/joey............ I couldn't find any of those posts, what is the latest on this?

you want to enable bridging on the internet connected hopper:

Easier is YELLOW - BLUE - SELECT - RED - MoCA - BLUE - BLUE - Bridging

getting broadband to the joey doesn't really add a whole lot anyways. I think mostly DLNA at this point. If you had a second hopper, then bridging would be more useful in getting internet connectivity over to that second hopper.

Yep Internet connectivity on the Joeys is only useful for DLNA (HomeMedia) if the Hopper that they are linked to already has Internet access. But hey if it's easily done then why not.
