Just got this DirecPC DISH.

I plan to use this as a fixed dish for RTN at 83W since the motorized one only gets RTN very weakly.

Does anyone know the offset between the Linear and Circular LNB?? I think this dish was originally for DirecPC and DirecTV.

Looks like the one I have, I did try it on 83 and it worked ok. Can't help with the offset question, as mine never did have DTV lnb on it. With what they charged back then (2003) for satellite internet I wasn't inclined to give them any more money. It is a good sturdy dish though that does a good job on most fta, though a little small.

that looks like an aftermarket setup. The DPC I use to have had the pencil LNB next to the KU...the setup was 99/101...see pic below (the DBS LNB I added...that was 4 degrees off)

That looks like maybe 6 degrees off (95/101 maybe??)

There are three "KITS" for the DirecPC/Direcway/HughesNet Dishes.

Kit A: Datastorm Glossary is also known as the "lipstick" LNB. An earlier version has a circular LNB with C-120 flange. Later version has the LNB built in to the long "lipstick" tube. This is the one Iceberg is referencing.

Kit B: Datastorm Glossary shown without the LNBs attached is used for Direct TV and Dish Network. If your internet service is on 117, then this arm will get 110 and 101. If on 89, you can get 82 and use Kit A above to get 91.

Kit C: Datastorm Glossary is used to get Direct TV 101 when the internet service is on 91. Note that the arm in this picture is slightly different than the one in question. That is because this arm is a slightly modified version to allow the Datastorm (Motosat) dish to raise and lower without touching it.
