I just signed up for Dish and they are coming on Friday to hook us up before the New Year!!! How about that for timing. Luck of the draw, somebody in my area cancelled their install appointment.
I have gone from DirecTV (Too expensive) to Adelphia Digital Cable (Too expensive and lowsey equipment) and now on to Dish. I can't wait to try the DVR's out. I guess recording with the VCR will become a thing of the past with 200 Hours of recording available on the 2 DVR's.
I'm still keeping my cable modem, but I'll save about $40 a month between the two. As soon as DSL or FTTP becomes available in the next year, good riddens Adelphia.
Can't wait to return my painfully slow cable boxes on Monday!
