You might want to rescan your TV to get the newest full power TV station KKAB-DT RF ch. 12.

You will get soon to be a new western called WEST and up and running MeTV- TOONS both are in 720p HD with full CC and EPG.

The signal might be very focused to the south from the Sandia Crest antenna farm, KKAB-DT is running at 33 KW ERP. :hatsoff2

Based on the coordinates in the Rabbitears listing, the tower is WAY south of downtown, south of Belen even, not on Sandia Crest. I'll do a scan tonight in NW Rio Rancho to see if I can pick it up there (doubtful).

The TV microwave " Handle ID" has posted on my AVS forum thread, saying the KKAB-DT "DTS" it's on the air from Sandia Crest right now while Socorio and T or C's should be on the air tomorrow Friday both on same RF ch. 12 "DTS system". :hatsoff2

Two interesting notes-

KKAB must be getting Me TV Toons via IP because the picture is better than the C-band feed. Also they're showing the Eastern/Central feed not the Mountain/Pacific feed. I would think ABQ should be getting the Mountain/Pacific feed 🤷🏻‍♂️

Now that's pretty interesting to see Toons in eastern time mode.

But I bet you it will be temporary once they get set it up correctly.

I noted you are missing one low power station on RMP ch. 45 RF ch. 30 KWPL-LD, a HC2 station, this one carry FUBO sports and the rest of other subchannels are similar to KQDF-LD on RF ch. 25.🙂👍 :hatsoff2

Only getting a hint of a signal from KKAB here in Santa Fe. Not enough to lock. Using rabbit ears inside the house. Would probably work with a decent roof top antenna.

Have you tried adding a preamp? At your distance from the towers, it could improve reception even with indoor rabbit ears. I've done a lot of experimentation with indoor, outdoor and attic antennas, my last location was about 42 miles from the towers.

Just out of curiosity, can you get KAOE-LD RF ch. 14 which is 10 KW ERP and what kind of programming do they have, after when you are done finishing up your 90 cm dish?

Their TX location is near Los Alamo and the coverages is for Santa Fe.

Thanks!! :hungry2:hatsoff2
