I've got 4.03 on the box that had 4.01.

I got it on my two 622s as well. I have noticed that the ota strength of my TBN station that has a 93 lock now shows red in the strength meter and it was solid before. So no more TBN I guess. IT still works on my tv and my dvd player with a digital tuner. Counters on the bedroom dvr are 4 and 3 and it received the update early this morning. THe one in the living room that I just got the software update on shows 0 & 0 for now. Both system info checks show good now and no lnb drift issues. So far so good. NO more problem with the dish point screen when I check a transponder defaulting to 105 . Let us see how the audio goes when the timers kick in on the other tuner. I want to hear that the sound stays stable and doesn't blair out like in 4.01. I need to check the search features with the hd channels in the higher range being locked out and the hd locals too and see if it still doesn't work.
***UPDATE! The search features now work with the locked out hd channels in the higher range . IN other words you can lock out all high number hd channels and hd locals too, and they will show search results for the mirrored hd channels in the low channel range. LIke HBO HD on 300 , SHowtime hd on 318 etc. THANKS DISH. I hope this fixes all the bugs we revealed.

That time has passed. The new version is just rolling out in blocks and we cannot get added to an early block. They allowed people to sign up for an early download for 4.01 as a one time thing.

I'm going to have to check on whether I have 4.03 now. For late last night when I was watching a recorded program, my slo-mo buttons (1/15th and 1/4th speed) no longer worked. It was late and I didn't launch into a diagnostic.
I haven't rebooted my 622 in something like 5 months, so perhaps I need to pull the plug.
But it seems odd that I had these problems and now read today that a new software version is out.

Actually it will spool to your receiver immediately (assuming your box is scheduled to receive the update) as long as both tuners are in standby.
OK.
Press Menu two times and check:
a) If your 622 have SW in ranges: 'ABA1'- 'BLA1' or 'L040'- 'L365' or 'L401'- 'L401'
b) AND if your 622 have: BootStraps='1[3-8]1[AB01]' and BuildConfigs= 'RB[BDEGHKL][A-DJ]'
c) AND if your 622 serial number fall in the range: 1-4000000000
then your 622 will be updated to L4.03 !
Still confusing ? Post screenshot of that System Info page and I will tell you.

Don't you mean L3.66 people dodged another bulit? Seriously there is a reason they are not giving it to them....aint it obvious?
Not obvious to me.. I had 4.01 and now 4.03 on one of my 622's.. It is working with absoulutely no and I mean NO problems. And I want it on my other 622.
To some people, yes, they're not "out of luck" as P Smith said, they may in fact be better off. Others want the latest, but not always greatest, no matter what.
i got it and the pause timer counts odd still. It skips seconds.
