The Beach.
For a while now I have had these static lines sparking in from the right side of the screen mostly during playback. They are more like static than anything else. Single thin various lengths lime green scratch like.

Anyone else seeing this or might know what is happening. This does not do it during live play or with any other source to my DLP. I did a search and could not find anything like this.

Cheers!

Probably a sign of Hard Drive Failure. You are going to have to get the Reciever replaced.

Classic memory bit loss. You'll need to contact DIsh for a replacement. It is not a hard drive error, but a bit loss in the delivery from the HD. Either way, it is defective.

I'm mostly concerned about the drive failing. So can I get through what I have on the thing and then replace it? Plus I have to take snaps of the timers to transfer them. For programming I have a 1.5TB drive I got when I was told by DISH that the 625 was going to be able to have a EHD after an update that was supose to be spooled last December. But it never happened. So the drive got stuck in my network to store all the programming that we have had to download when timers on the receivers fail. which have been a lot lately. So no readily handy xfer. Plus I'm not really up on giving them anymore money than I have to at the moment.

Thanks . . .

When you contact Dish for a replacement, Tell them you have already done the troubleshooting steps. You will get off the phone/chat a lot faster.
Recently every time I have had to call I get Customer Retention directly and they understand that I know what I am doing and we go from there. No questions, no wasting anybodies time.
