k, so, im wet behind the ears in comparison then. BUT: PROPER grounding "pipes" as you say, at apartment buildings and MDU's within a reasonable distance of a dish is not common IN MY EXPERIANCE.


but then again, im a former electrician and I know what a proper ground is and is not.

too bad you can't just bang in a 6' copper rod and call it good. used to do that all the time.

are you not supposed to be certifited to install ground rods?
anyway, we had this one tech that every job he grounded was a trouble call, every job he didnt ground worked fine, lol
