Live TV buffer???

Are you talking about stuff via satellite or streaming? I find if you hit rewind with streaming channels it actually goes forward. I have to press rewind multiple times to get it to rewind. If you're talking about satellite viewing then I don't know.

Joey 4k connected to H3 on H706 and K106 this not first time probably the 6th time this happen me this been happen for a few Software versions now, I usual NEVER rewind or skip back live tv.

Other day I tried to rewind/skip back hockey game and it would rewind/skip back to where i want then just jump right back to live tv, on wednesday I tried something similar when watch AEW tried to skip back/rewind again soon as i get to spot I wanted to see again it jump right back to live tv, this time I went back about 30 minutes and went right back to livetv.

Only fix to it is reboot both the h3 and joey4k when it happens. Never mind mother ask me why this happen and why dish is not fixing it cause she does this alot.

This is on Satellite but I have seen what you talking about on streaming some time buffer fills up so there video to view ahead of the "live" feed, and rewind/skip back jump ahead of the livetv that been issue for while too

I general I find watch any feed as it being "recorded" or on livetv (1h buffer) to be buggy it why I mostly only watch DVR where if I do have similar problems I can just reboot the system and not lose things

Skip forward and skip back while watching a currently recording episode has been difficult for some time now.

I just avoid that circumstance.

Why go with LIVE? Start the DVR and avoid the problem, albeit with a time delay.

Same here, thought it was my box. Guess its just another software problem.

I have been having a similar issue with Joey 4K connected to H3 (H706). I record Boomer & Gio Show sports talk radio on WFAN NY 101.9 FM radio simulcast on CBS Sports Network, a 4 hour show every morning weekdays 6 - 10 AM. I usually watch the show from the beginning about an hour to hour and a half delayed. I have been doing this for several years but lately I have been having problems with fast forwarding between segments. The show opens with Boomer Esiason and Greg Giannotti discussing the most pressing/exciting/relevant sports issue either NY centric or a national sports topic if it's a big event. This goes on for about 20 minutes then they go to about 6 minutes of commercials and when they come back the second segment is the Sports Update featuring Jerry Recco (also the radio play by play announcer for Rutgers Basketball and the pregame & post-game host for the Dallas Cowboys National Radio partner Compass Media Networks). I usually try to watch the opening segment then fast forward through the commercials to the Sports update. Lately (last 3 weeks to a month or so) I have been quite frustrated with the fast forward, I hit the FF and it starts to fast forward 15X and then after a few minutes of the commercials the program jumps to the end of the recording. I try doing it over again, but no matter what I do I cannot get it to go to the update. I have even shut the program off and tried watching after the recording is complete but no joy. I have 2 H3's and I record the show on both H3's every weekday and it does the same thing on both from the Joey 4K. I have been working around it lately by just stepping FF in 1 to 2 minute segments at a time and it seems to work. Not ideal, but at least I've been able to do it. Very frustrating I hope they fix it soon.

Why have live buffer of 1 hour if it just glitchy at that point, and been like for while
