lnb switch control

I have read to set the 22KHz lnb switch to auto but I have only one lnb why not just turn it off? Dont I need to turn it off to use a satellite finder? Grampa {an old newbe} not to good on a computer either

If you have a UNIVERSAL LNBF, then leave the 22KHz tone ON or on AUTO.

It should not affect the performance of the SF95 sat finder.

If you have a STANDARD LNBF, then turn the 22KHz tone OFF.
