There were some FTA channels that appears on a particular KU bird and it left me a bit confused. People said they were using a 9750/10600 universal LNBF but that left me scratching my head with that i thought i knew
I thought the calculation was as follows :
Sat Frequency - LO = ( must fall within tuner range) ie (950-1450mhz)
9750/10600 universal lnbf
The bird had the following transponders :
Transponder #1
11305 - 9750 = 1555 (not within range)
11305 - 10600 = 705 (not within range)
Transponder #2
11345 - 9750 = 1595 (not within range)
11345 - 10600 = 745 (not within range)
Transponder #3
11430 - 9750 = 1680 (not within range)
11430 - 10600 = 830 (not within range)
So, unless my math is wrong, the universal lnbf with the 9750/10600 LO's is not the right LO frequencies to be utilized to get all 3 transponders although i suppose TP #1 might be close enough within range to be captured?
Please Help me understand...
