Local channel numbers on E*

I currently have D* and was wondering if the local channels on E* are numbered by actual channel number or are in the 9000's as their web page indicates?

For instance is Fox41 on channel 41?

They are in the 8xxx-9xxx range for SD, and 63xx range for HD. At least on the HD receivers, you can remap SD down to the actual number. A fix is pending to do the same for the HD channels, I understand.

you get both. For example KVUE is on both 8250 and 24 for me here in Austin/Round Rock.
