If a channel currently carried by Directv is a full-power, must-carry independent station, but moves via channel sharing to a LP channel, will Directv still carry it? The example for me is WMFP Boston. They will be going off the air, and channel sharing with WWDP-LP Evine Live. WWDP is obviously not on Directv. Evine's national feed is... It doesn't really matter if WMFP is carried by Directv because it is SBN and exactly the same as channel 344, but there must be examples in other markets where there are channels that could potentially go off the air. Another Boston DMA station, WBIN, has already shut off its signal and is sharing with WUTF Unimas, but WUTF is full power and sending separate 66-1 and 50-1 signals, from what I understand.
Another one of my locals, WNNE Hartford, VT, is going off the air. My county does not get their sister station WPTZ Plattsburgh, NY, so will I loose that, too?
