I know someone that lives in Franklin County pa and they took away Washington dma a couple of weeks ago...they used to be significantly viewed channels

That describes me. Very unhappy about it, especially since one of my schedule recordings got lost over it.

Can you "move" to Fulton county?

Anyhow to fix this problem you just need to call directv and tell the csr to restart your services and then resend all authorizations. You may need to rbr all boxes as well. This will have your boxes tune to the proper locals. You can also try to move your service address to dc.

I'm sorry to "bump" such an old thread. If I was to "move" to Franklin County (I've "lived" in the NYC DMA for about a year and a half) would I get the Harrisburg *and* DC locals, or just the Harrisburg locals now?
