Local HD channels w/ Dish HD-receiver and Voom dish

Hi,

What is needed to receive local HD channels through VOOM dish(OTA) and DISH HD receiver? I heard there is a switch or something can do this, if yes then what switch is that and how is the connection?

I also heard Dish will bring local HD channels soon, is there any update on this?

Welcome to SatelliteGuys... the V* (or Voom) dish uses a legecy lnb the newer E*(dishnet) dishs use dishpro technology which is incompatable.(you could find a Dish 500 with legecy Lnbs to use with the V* dish using a variety of switches starting with SW21's ) There are no Local HD channels up unless you can get waivers for CBSHD east and or west... no update yet on HD locals ava...
