Ive called E* and it seem's they want to charge me 30 bucks to come out to see why I am having issues with two of my local HD channels, and I really don't wanna go there, I pay enough for this stuff.

Anyone have any ideas as to why my local ABC and CBS stations (HD ONLY) cannot keep a signal? IS it E* or just the local companies. Ive not been able to view ABC consistanly since Saturday, and all the regular Troubleshooting seems to have no effect.

THe box is a VIP 212 just incase your curious.

When did you have it installed? There is a warranty for a certain amount of time. After that you have to pay for service calls unless you are on DHPP

I had it installed a few months ago, locally though. I turned them off last month because I got a D* hd box in the LR, but just got an HD tv in the bedroom so Sat. I called and got them turned back on, and since then, nothing but problems with those two channels.

Are they OTA or via Dish.
