Local HDs almost never come in...HELP

I'm new to all of this. I have Sacramento locals, and the hd versions hardly ever work. After searching for someting, it gives me a screen saying that it's "being worked on" and to not call them. I'm sure you will need more info to help. I just don't know what info that is.

I have never seen this. I live in Sacramento and don't have a problem with my locals coming in HD. I know that most of the shows that are on 3,10,13,31,40, and 58 are in HD but you should still see a picture.

Well I don't live in Sacramento, I live at the very top of California. It was either Sacramento locals, or I'd have to get Oregon locals (no thanks). I've tried changing my dish to 129, 110, and a few others that were listed, but no help there.

Most locals are now on spot beam, you could be on the fringe of the signal. A larger dish may help.

I saw this once last week. Other than that it has been rare. Getting them fine. Sac locals are on 110 spot.
