I'm thinking of getting either Dish or Direct since my small local cable company doesn't have any HD programming and I bought a 50" plasma for Christmas. When I put my zip code (67467) into the Dish website's (DISH Network - 1.888.825.2557) local channel lookup I see I am in the Wichita/Hutchinson, KS area. All the expected channels are listed but none are listed as being in HD. If I do the same thing at Direct (Good TV. Better TV. DIRECTV.) I get the same channel lineup but the four big networks, ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX, are listed as being available in HD.
I had been leaning toward Dish but if I can't get locals in HD I will probably go with Direct. Is it correct that Dish does not have my locals in HD or is it just a case of out of date information on the website?
