Locals on 118?

I saw on another website that on Dish has locals on 118 for Pittsburgh, Detroit and some other areas. However, on the List here I don't see any locals on 118.

nope they all moved to 129 or 61.5 a long time ago

Thelist is the most up to date list out there....anytime Dish makes a move/add/delete/change it reflects on thelist

Like Ice mentioned, they're no longer there. They were there temporarily (can't remember why), but they have been moved.

That was probably the reason why the installer gave me a 1000+ when I upgraded to HD back in May '08. I searched through the uplink report archives one time and I saw my HD locals (Detroit) getting removed from 118 in I think October '08. Since then, they've been spotbeamed from just 129 only.

They were not temporarily there. They were actually launched on 118.7 But as other satellites were launched they were moved off of CONUS coverage onto spotbeams that were not available before.
