Location ID / Can E* truck my receiver?

I need temporary move to Atlanta from LA for seven month and I would like to take my Vip 622 receiver (which is connected to SIP out calling phone line only) with me to see local LA channels in Atlanta.
And my question is! Can E* truck my receiver location if the receiver will still connected to SIP phone?
I notice that INFO page has Location ID.
What do you think?

DISH probably can't track your location but I don't think the Spot beams will allow you to watch LA in Atlanta.

I know I can't see the St. Louis spotbeam in Florida when I vacation there and take my receiver along.

When you are in St. Louis do you connect you receiver to telephone line?

I don't think it will work for LA locals even if your are in LA unless you let dish know you moved. The national channels would work but the guide would be hours off. I'd just let dish know you moved and then tell them when you move back.
