Logo Update

Directv seems to have done a nearly-guide wide logo update. Several channels that didn't have logos now do. Several others have new ones. A few of the black-on-black logos have been fixed. These are for HD feeds, where applicable.

Now have logos: Newsmax 349, Fusion 342, Discovery Family 294, Longhorn Network 677.

Notable updates: HLN 202, Unimas 66/408, TruTV 246, WeTV 260, History Channel 269, ESPN Deportes 432.

Updates that remove black-on-black (therefore virtually invisible) logos: NBC Sports Network 220, Encore Classic 537, TNT 245, Sundance TV 557

Errors: Ovation 274 is now black-on-black. Nat Geo Wild 283 has a Nat Geo Mundo logo that is different than the logo on the actual Nat Geo Mundo channel.

There are others, but those are the highlights. There are still some missing - ion HD 305, Inspiration 364, Uplift 379, Once 447 and more.

Logos, and other graphic files, seem to be a separate software package that's upgraded randomly.

Must be. I am using the HR34 on 0x0987 software. The logos update will come eventually.

There are a few channels like that. I never noticed until last night that "Sports" is written in black under "Root" on the Root channels. Some channels have been on Directv for years still don't have logos - ion HD, SNY, FSSD, and more.

I didn't take pics of all of them. Here's a couple more...

I wish Newsmax, Arirang, CCTV, and select other SD stations weren't broadcast in smush-o-vision... Some are letterbox/postage like Discovery Family. Some are proper 16:9 SD like BYU TV.

For 245 TNT: 245 SD is gold, 245 HD is now white. It was black for a while, making it like Ovation in the picture - virtually invisible.
