I have a 40" Samsung HDTV that has a built in Qam tuner, which I am using with my basic Comcast signal.
Am looking for a stand alone QAM tuner device that has a program guide feature (maybe even DVR but not essential).
Would even consider one with internet functionality.
A lot of the QAM tuners out there such as the HD Homerun seem to involve a PC but I want to watch the video on my TV not a PC! Has anyone used this one on a TV?
Thanks!

Since your Samsung already has a QAM tuner, I'm guessing you want the guide function, yes? It would be free to use an online guide, although nowhere near as convenient. QAM channels can change position fairly frequently. I don't know if the guides keep up. If you had a television with a guide built in, I'm guessing it would pick up the changes.

Considering a return to Time Warner
