Watching some of the U.S. open right now and I noticed that the CBS eye is not in the 4:3 safe area but instead in the far top right corner. I'm assuming that SD viewers are watching this in letterbox now? It's a trend that's been going on for awhile and I'm honestly surprised CBS took this long to make that switch.

Given how cheap new widescreen TVs are now, they probably figure everyone has one or will get one soon. Not worth annoying the majority for a few SD 4:3 holdouts.
FOX puts their sports in widescreen, even for those with SDTV. CBS hasn't done that, so I can't see the entire score bug.
yeah I checked on the D12 in the community room at the apartment complex and it was not in widescreen. It filled the 4:3 area so part of the bug was not there. It looked like this on the left (during the Serena Williams/Sloane Stephens match)
