I'm in Oklahoma and live in a townhouse. My balcony faces north and northwest. I'm literally just about 4 degrees from getting the standard satellite angle for DISH. My old neighbors allowed me to have the DISH on their balcony. The new ones aren't so agreeable even with a bribe...

I'm wondering if there's a way to get DISH from northern angles now?

you still need a SE to SW view depending on what arc you have
The only way to get a satellite to work on the northern side....move south of the equator ;)

Fine enough. Anyone know much on the DISH Everywhere system? I could setup the DISH somewhere else, like my sisters house, and strap it into their internet connection. It could then forward it over the net to me...assuming that works somehow.

It depends on your site. Do you have line of site from the roof of the balcony? A tripod with a longer pole to get you over the roof might work. It also depends on what the homeowners association or landlord will allow too.
